Pam and June Conine arrived in The Villages on Mar. 27 and spent an enjoyable 4 days enjoying the beautiful weather, soaking up some sun at the pool, and touring the sites. Little Coninski and I go way back...from tap dance class with Miss Bibza at Miami University, to giving Harry Ashburn a few more gray hairs at Bennett Jr. High along with fellow troublemaker, art teacher, Jac-Q Ludwig. June, her mom and lively Findlay native...yes, she knows the Rothlisbergers, and told us Ben's little sister is a star player in basketball, has heard enough about The Villages from her card playing buddies, and wanted a nice few days with her eldest daughter to see what all the "buzz" was about. June always had dinner ready and clean beds when the "three teachers" travelled through Findlay from a summer trek, such as the famous "east coast, Sarah Lawrence" swing." Anyway, after tours, walks, swims, dinners out, and friends Sandy and Dick's pheasant fingers and barbecue party, they were introduced to itunes and soduku, as well as having to endure endless golf stories.Patty Conine sabotaged the house with M and M's as a retaliation from the Scottsville stay; June sprung for a birthday dinner that was great at Glenview CC....thanks JUNE! A fine time was had by all !!!!!! By the way, the new set of wheels is behind the girls.......three old guys tried to get us to pull over at the taxi stop, and one little kid at the Villages Elementary school started crying when we went by because he thought he had missed his bus.!!!(Just kidding!!!) We love it.
