Six Years Since the Move. Merry Christmas
It was on Dec. 26, 2004 that we moved to The Villages. It has been cold here, but looking at these pictures, it was beautiful, but very cold. Callie is shown in the pic
ture looking at the tree. Her perch was right next to it, and she guarded it as if it were her own. (It was!) We got a huge snowfall on Dec. 24, 2004, and, it was a little doubtful that we would get to leave on the 26th. We hated to say good-bye to our beautiful home in the woods, but were eager to get to Florida to start our new lives. Terri helped Jana drive and I sat in the back with Callie and the two boys, Nike and Sammi. Thought I would post these pictures and blog, as it is hard to believe we have been gone from Ohio for 6 years alre
ady.
Again this year, I will be staying home to give Callie her shots and IV, and Nike his medications. It doesn't make for the best of holidays, but there are responsiblities with "parenthood." I enjoy being in the warm temps, and my friends here, but it would be nice to see my family and my Ohio friends during the holidays. Until I can travel at all, I will have to wish you all the best from The Villages. Have a great holiday, everyone. Happy New Year.

Beautiful Photos and memories Peg. Even though you are miles away you warm our hearts and remain in them. Connie Jo
Yes, we wish you could be here with your friends in Ohio, also. On second thought, your friends here in Ohio wish we were there with YOU!! It is hard to believe that it has been 6 years! Merry Christmas to you and Jana and all of the kids!!
We sure do miss you guys, but I know you love Florida. The Villages is really a great place to retire to. We are actually in Fl. We spent last 5 days with family at Disney. Boy did we walk many miles. Next time we come we hope to have time to come visit. Couldn't believe when Piqua came to Tecumseh for basketball, that they got Don H. back coaching again. Merry Christmas!

That is crazy that you have been gone from the neighborhood that long! Have a wonderful holiday...I am sure you will find something to do even though you will be alone. Hope Jana gives me a shout out. I need to pick her brain! Peace!
Peg who?!
Seriously, you will always be in my thoughts and prayers, Peg, as you were one of the first persons I met when I returned to Ohio after graduating from college. Oh, what fond memories I have of you officiating basketball, coaching volleyball, and playing golf.
All is going well in Ohio and, as you can expect, we are expecting a white Christmas. Merry Christmas to you and Jana! Love, Marty Dale
