Happy New Year a little late. Now that I have a smartphone, I have not been blogging as much. Not too much new here, but I thought you might want to see a picture 
of our friends, Irene and Jim Brennan (with Nike)at our villa. Irene and I met through the internet. When we were looking for all and any information we could find on the Villages, I came across this wonderful webpage that Irene had done. Her webpage explained that she and Jim had a villa, but since they were not retired yet, and could only spend 6 months per year here, (our laws) they rented their villa. At the time, I had no idea that she was actually emailing from Oman, and that Jim was in the British navy and they were practically newlyweds. We emailed back and forth several times, and discussed some genealogy, and said that when they were in The Villages, and we finally move there, we would get together and play some golf, and go out to dinner. We moved, they retired, and we have been friends every since. When not here in The Villages, their British home is Bury St. Edmunds, England.
