HAPPY NEW YEAR 2006
Hi !!! We spent New Year's Eve with friends at Lake Sumter Landing. It was packed with people, but Bob and Jan had the smarts to park their car there early in the morning....when we arrived there tonight in our golf carts, the car was moved..and we had a great seat for Rocky and the Rollers. Sandy and Dick and Judy and her husband joined us. We also saw Corner Bob and Shirley, as well as two of our neighbors from Cherry Hill Villas. It was a beautiful night, andshorts and a jacket were fine. I picked up these hats when we got back from Ohio. We miss going to Dominics and having fun in Ohio, but this was a lot of fun, too. Jana got signed up for the inaugural playing of the Amelia nine at Mallory Hill Country Club in the Villages. As a Villages' employee, she gets to play it before it even opens up to the general public. And...for free! We are playing golf with Nancy and Jan tomorrow at Mallory Hill..I'll have sauerkraut and pork in the "cooker" so it will be ready when we get home. May the new year be one of health, peace, and prosperity for all our family and friends...and a new birdcage.!

Callie May's Present..with us
This is Callie May on her new chair. She is presiding over the writing of this blog. We allwatched Christmas Vacation tonight. She didn't want to go to Ohio...much to cold. She likes her screened in porch in the mornings and the evenings. She can't wait for her "birdcage" to be built so that she can move her chair outside.
Two years ago, she was just coming out of intensive care, so we are very thankful that she is healthy and still with us, thanks to her heart specialist, Dr. Schrader.
Merry Christmas, Mele Kalikimake, Feliz Navidad, Happy Chanukah, and Happy Kwanzaa.
It will be 30 years (1975) on Christmas Eve when Mom. Dad, David and I sailed around Diamond Head on a gorgeous night in Hawaii....drinking mai tais and listening to the small band on the small Vanderbilt sailing ship out of Honolulu Harbor... singing Hawaiian Christmas carols..what a blast it was...time goes so fast. Carpe diem.

World Golf Hall of Fame
Jana and I met Barb at her Time Share on Monday, Nov.28. It overlooked the entranceway to the Golf Hall of Fame at World Golf Village. On Monday, it rained, but we still managed to shop in the huge Proshop on site, and see an IMAX movie. We also had fun at lunch at The Caddyshack restaurant. On Tuesday, we spent time at the museum, which was awesome for any golf fan.We dined in St. Augustine, and also shopped at the area's outlet malls, and visited the beach. A great time was had by all !!
