Ling's 19th Hole

Champions of the post Cinco de Mayo golf tournament held at Glenview CC in The Villages, Florida. Our team, pictured above, was first with a 32, 4 under par with an alternate shot format. It was a beautiful night, and we had dinner (Mexican, of course,) on the Glenview patio, followed by the awarding of the first place prizes of sombreros, tequila, margarita mix,and beaded necklaces. Our picture is in the Daily Sun this morning with our sombreros on, but they messed up the article. We still had a great time. 

HI...and Happy Mother's Day to all of us. Our kids are Callie May, Nike Jo, and Sammi. The picture above is Cane Garden CC. It has been open since the end of February. We stopped here today after golf at Heron, and I bought a dark pink hat as my "Mom's Day" present from the cats...gee, I will have to take it out of their allowance. Just got back from an afternoon of pool and outdoor spa at Glenview..about a 10 minute golf cart ride from home.Golf....beer....pool...and spa....on a perfect Florida spring day.....very enjoyable!!!
